Historiek
As a company, ALUSION is the continuation of activities that once started as PME and Protech:
1991: formation of PME - Product, Mould & Engineering.
In 1991 PME was founded by William Beernaert. His years of experience in the field of plastic injection and product development immediately generated many nice and challenging projects.
The main focus of PME was the development of plastic components and plastic injection moulds, with support just until start-up of production.
1993: PROTECH
The creation of Protech made it possible to share the knowledge and experience of aluminium and zinc high pressure die casting.
Protech mainly specialized in tree areas:
- In house development of moulds for high pressure diecasting of aluminium and zinc alloys, making of the mould included.
- Active support from development stage until production.
- Production and supply of completely finished casting parts.
1998: First CNC-machining centers for more precise and complex finishing of casted parts.
1999-2016: expansion of the machinere up to tot 8 high pressure die casting machines & 20 cnc centrers. In 2013, William's youngest son Tijs Beernaert entered the company.
Year after year things evolved; the production capacity improved, an ISO 9001 certificate was obtained and service, quality and reliability remained key priorities.
2017: Formation of ALUSION as a seperate entity for aluminium and zinc high pressure diecasted parts.
Unique prototypes, smaller production batches or series up to 100000 pcs or more annually, everything is possible.
2019: Expansion of the production-capacity up to
- 10 hot chamber aluminium high pressure diecasting machines
- 3 cold chamber machines for zinc production
- redouble of automatic power painting capacit
